SENIOR
COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP) program provides
low income individuals, 55 and over, with training and work experience
leading to permanent employment. Participants are trained to serve in such
positions as teachers, hospital and health aides, word processor
operators, drivers, security operators, library aides, and more. The
program is designed to bring together the talents of older workers and the

SENIORS' RESOURCE CENTER 303.235.6982 The SCSEP (Senior Community
Service Employment Program) recruits seniors (55 and older; with an annual
income not exceeding $11,075 [single] or $14,925 [married]) in Adams,
Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, & Jefferson Counties
to learn new skills. Senior enrollee's skills/talents are matched with a
host agency [non-profit or govt. agency] where abilities can be learned
and new ones developed. Enrollee works up to 20 hrs/week at
$5.15/hour. On-job training will focus on computer skills, data entry and
clerical skills.
