Eligibility: Children ages six weeks to six years. ($ = sliding scale) (primarily for families with limited resources from the Boulder community, in a safe, home-like environment that responds to diverse ethnic, cultural and social traditions)
SERVICES: operates four main programs: Infants, Toddlers, Pre-School and the Family Resource Program. The three classroom programs are low ratio environments that are designed to stimulate brain development and encourage growth in cognitive, social, emotional and physical development areas.
--Family Resource Program provides an on-site early childhood specialist accessible to parents, children and staff. A consultant provides training, support and therapeutic intervention where needed.

SERVICES: performs short term, drop-in and emergency child care (day care) to children ages 6 weeks to 13 years. (affordable) for parents in the case of unavailable childcare, job interviews, class, medical and mental health and relief from stressful care-giving duties.

Services: to serve women and their families through programs to protect children, empower girls and eliminate racism, including Career Services - Children's Alley - Divorce Education - The EDGE - Lifeskills - Public Policy -Wise Woman

  • CHILDREN'S ALLEY
    Eligibility: healthy and well babies and children from birth through Age 12 (sliding scale) (intake reservations 303.449.1951 - to schedule for Mondays call from 4-6pm the Friday
    SERVICES: drop-in emergency child care center sponsored by the YWCA. (Examples of emergencies include medical or legal problems, ill baby sitter, parent needs time to his/herself). To schedule Mon-Thurs call at 4pm the evening before.
    --Short-term child care is available up to 10 visits per month. Contracts for children over 2 are available for 2 to 6 weeks maximum.
  • SINGLE PARENT PROGRAM
    Eligibility: all intake by telephone (sliding scale small donation is requested for the support group and child care is provided.)
    SERVICES: offers an on-going support group facilitated by a professional with experience in working with single parents and the issues which single parents face.
    --A divorce education series is also offered periodically. This is a series of workshops conducted by lawyers on topics ranging from mediation to child custody. Call the YWCA for more information. 303.443.0419
